I have tropical news for you, it is actually not true at all!
Chameleons change their color depending on their mood and state of being. To add another fact to that, I’m going to say that blind chameleons still change their color, which means they don’t depend on their environment visually, it’s more likely they get a specific feeling about where they are. So, to conclude, environment works on us, living beings, in almost every possible way.
